This is a demonstration web site created using GedScape, a GEDCOM browser utility that also provides HTML conversion/export and text/csv extraction. Everything you see on this page, and on every HTML page that is directly or indirectly reached by following links from this page, was created using the Web/HTML Export facility within GedScape, using a sample GEDCOM file based on a subset of European Royalty, the data of which is freely available on the web in GEDCOM form. These web pages are exactly as generated by using the Export Web Site option of the File menu within GedScape and have not been altered in any way.
Please note that this sample data does not contain examples of all the different GEDCOM events, attributes etc. that are possible in a GEDCOM file. GedScape does however support all features and tags of the GEDCOM 5.5.1 standard, and all character sets including ANSEL, UTF/Unicode, Mac (Apple Roman), ANSI, and all Western European Windows code pages.
